Every part we sell comes with a 12 month warranty. Your legal rights still apply alongside it.
How long is the warranty?
12 months from the date you receive your order.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers faults in the part itself that show up during normal use within the 12 months.
On mirror glass, that means glass that delaminates or loses its silvering, a heating element that stops working when it is correctly connected, and a backing plate that fails. On wiper blades, it means blades that smear or split in normal use.
What is not covered?
Accidental damage is not covered, and neither is vandalism or damage picked up on the road, such as stone chips.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by fitting the wrong part, or by fitting a part incorrectly. Normal wear at the end of a wiper blade's life is not a fault, so that is excluded too, and so is any part that has been modified after we sent it to you.
How do I make a warranty claim?
- Email info@less4spares.co.uk with your order number.
- Describe the problem and include photos that show the fault.
- We will reply and explain the next steps.
Please contact us before you post anything back, so we can tell you what we need and where to send it. Where a claim is valid we cover the reasonable cost of returning the part, and we will replace it or refund you.
What are my legal rights?
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, parts must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. These rights apply whether or not you use our warranty.
Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject a faulty part for a full refund.
If a fault appears within 6 months of delivery, it is assumed to have been there when you received the part, unless we can show otherwise. You are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that does not work, a refund or price reduction.
After 6 months you can still claim. You may need to show the fault was there when you received the part.
See Returns and refunds for how to send a part back.
